Funny old world. My Australian relatives have to get a visa to come here but Roma Gypsies don't. Ah well, guess the Band must have played Waltzing Matilda.

Yet by far the greatest number of casualties of the Gallipoli campaign were British troops. The history became a little distorted,perhaps for political purposes.

Still not the Allies finest hour in WW1 and reflected badly upon Churchill.

I guess that when you look at the populations of OZ and NZ in those days you can see why.

It's relevant because the Anzacs were from OZ and NZ.

Oh yes, open borders and migration are a mess and I will take every opportunity I can to say so, but people from these countries are immigrants if they come here. I have to say I feel much more akin to them than Roma Gypsies!
