Going to play Cooden Beach tomorrow, club fitting with Ping on Thursday + 1 round, then 4 rounds on Fri, Sat & Sun at Forest Pines... and I've just done my wrist in again :(

Currently have it strapped up and so far have had several shooting pains that make me wince each time as they feel like huge electric shocks, not good.

It better be a case of 'beware the injured golfer' otherwise I'm fecked :( :(

Picked up a mug of tea and just had an excruciating pain shoot up my arm.

I've got it strapped up already, I've stuck some Voltarol gel on it and will probably load up with Ibuprofen tomorrow morning. Unbelievable.

I trod on a bun once and a current ran up my leg....

Have text you regarding todays game mate. Weather forecast looks shite (heavy rain and high winds forecast) and Cooden is not the place to be when it's like that.
Raining here already and wind getting up

Sorry to hear about that James, I had a bit of a freak accident years ago too. Just sat on a tall wooden stool and had my feet on the foot bars and when I stood up my Achilles tendon went AWOL for the next 5 weeks. Just not funny is it!

I seem to remember David Seaman or someone in the footballing world pulled a muscle in his arm when picking up the tv remote control.
How big was the tv if the remote hurt him... :D :D

Cooden is not the place for wind! Still have nightmares

I have warned him!!!
It's quite breezy down here at the moment and I have played Cooden on a flat calm day and it's been breezy!
That first hole is the toughest opening hole on any course I have played.
455 yard par 4 into the prevailing wind. I don't think I have ever got on there in two

Try ice-packs aswell.

Thanks, if it plays me up I'll try that, I won't know until I take the strapping off later today if it's going to continue to play up or not. I took some co-codamol(sp?) last night, I'm not sure if it helped at all but I got off to sleep quite quick! :D

Co-Codamol is good stuff. I was prescribed it in 500/30 strength and it was knocking me out. Go easy on it though as it does cause constipation sometimes!

Wish you all the best with the recovery on this. I had a similar injury which was down to hitting too many balls at the range off the hard mats.

Frustrating when it happens, i feel your pain. I used to race motocross and we had a lads holiday booked. As a safe idea i stopped racing one month before the holiday so i didnt fly injured. The day before flying i slipped on a wet step and had a grade 2 sprain on my ankle tearing loads of complicated bits and bobs. Was a good laugh clubbing on crutches in greece though

I've been using Tramadol. This stuff is awesome, but it is opium based so that probably explains why. Definitely sleep better though. Only trouble is staying awake.
