...goes to HTL for hosting yet another great afternoon's golf at Leatherhead.

In attendance were guests JustOneUK, myself and A N Other (who cannot be named for legal reasons).

As usual off his "handicap", HTL took front 9, back 9, and overall. We also had a 4bbb matchplay going on with JustOneUK and myself against HTL and friend which ended with a handshake on 17th after a string of birdies by the good guys saw off the pretender's challenge.

Some good golf, excellent company. Thanks HTL.

Glad it was a great day.

I really wanted to make it but unfortunately work has to come first, at least occassionally.

So I buckled down, had 6 appointments bookied in for the day, and on number 5 my back went snap.

Sitting here crippled and pathetic, as only a man in pain can be.

It must be Gods way of telling me not to be so stupid next time - sacrifice work and play golf instead !!
