So, I paid my annual subs today £1100. I prefer to think of tomorrow's round costing £1100 and then rest of my golf at home is free - am I just going senile?

Pretty much cost me that one year. Played one game of golf after paying the subs then wrecked my knee ligaments again :( hence why I pay a month in advance these days :)

Yes, senile for sure

100 rounds at £11 a round would be a more appropriate thought and aim I reckon.

I stopped my membership due to it being too expensive. I now pay £99 for the year, get to play in tournaments, I get a discount on green fees and get an official handicap. Plus the wife doesn't moan all the time about "You've paid to play there, why do you have to play somewhere else?!"

Where do you hold your handicap?

Going? You've been that as long as I've known you!! ;)

Must go and pay mine when I get the car back……….. :(

Hark who's talking ....... you can't even remember where you've left your car! :whoo:

I know exactly where it is; with Mr. Subaru, who's trying to encourage the rear differential fluid to stay inside it rather than coming out to decorate the drive……..

You look like you've always had problems with your rear ended Richard!

I tend to think of mine in terms of qualifying rounds, so if I play every qualifier it's roughly £12/round. Anything after that is free, practice rounds, winter medals, pairs and scrambles, social knocks etc.
