So, I paid my annual subs today £1100. I prefer to think of tomorrow's round costing £1100 and then rest of my golf at home is free - am I just going senile?

I stopped my membership due to it being too expensive. I now pay £99 for the year, get to play in tournaments, I get a discount on green fees and get an official handicap. Plus the wife doesn't moan all the time about "You've paid to play there, why do you have to play somewhere else?!"
I could join 3 clubs for that up here![]()
Where do you hold your handicap?
and one of those would be St Andrews![]()

We don't like to show off up here but yes it would be:thup:
But you can only play 33% of the year due to horrific weather, so pro-rata, its probably the same cost round for round as a surrey course...![]()
The 100 rounds for £11 sounds better lol
Going? You've been that as long as I've known you!!
Must go and pay mine when I get the car back………..![]()

Hark who's talking ....... you can't even remember where you've left your car! :whoo:
I know exactly where it is; with Mr. Subaru, who's trying to encourage the rear differential fluid to stay inside it rather than coming out to decorate the drive……..
