Firstly, may I say that Im not writing this in fun or frivolity, but its a serious post

Each year we see pop stars lose their lives prematurely through Drugs, alcohol or reckless behaviour,

Its like an unstoppable train

My question is "Who is Next?"

Not wishing harm on anyone, but in the hope that whoever sees their name on the list might think twice about the direction their lives are taking.

Creativity and Self Destructiveness kinda go hand in hand. Whatcha gonna do?

Then there are some who expose themselves to industrial quantities of drugs and alcohol and are still here. Looking a bit rough, admittedly. For example Keith Richards, Shaun Ryder and Shane McGowan.

And Jedward?????

George Michael's been living on the edge for a while now.

Hardly counts as a potential "premature" casualty, although probably falls into the " God Knows How They made It This Far" category along with Keef Richards etc

Musically I'd say Axl Rose and George Michael could be up there. Elsewhere I don't think Maggie Thatcher has long left as she looks quite frail and ill and definitely nothing like the iron lady that divided a nation. Gazza is always a worry although he seems to be popping up on TV now and then and sounding a bit more lucid which is encouraging

For me there are three people in (fairly) recent times that have been taken too soon, Kurt Cobain, Ayrton Senna and, of course, Seve. Each under VERY different circumstances, but alike in the tragedy of an early death and leaving a large gap behind them.
