Not seen it but saw it advertised and thought that it looked a load of rubbish. But as SILH says walking out is a bit strange.

Actually agree with you. Am 50 years old and promise you have never walked out on a film before, neither has mrs. But that thing was just so utterly pointless, I was wasting part of my life sitting there.

Have not seen 12 years a slave yet,but others on here have recommended it.
Funny isn't is how peoples tastes differ.

If it's a quite nite I could watch all 3 and I've just noticed I've got that lone survivor too. Don't think I could fit 4 films in my work will get in the way but also hoping to play at 11 tomoz so don't want to work to hard

Take the film seriously and you'll hate it, watch it with tongue placed firmly in cheek and you'll love it.
Both the missus and I thought it was excellent, it's more a "nod to" rather than a work to be taken as a serious piece.
