american golf voucher

Imagine my surprise this morning when I received an email from american golf containing a £40 voucher.

I've hardly ever shopped there over the last 5 years or so, and have not had any recent dealings with them.

It looks like it's pukka, no obvious 'have to spend £250' catch. Doesn't appear to be related to a Nigerian bank account.

Anyone else in the same postition ?

I feel some bargain prov1s coming on !

What so you can walk in and walk out with £40's worth of goods without spending a penny?

Well yes, in a virtual sense - they sent me a voucher code and pin number in an email.

Gonna go for the £75 pro v offer, some gloves and spikes for about £50 notes (don't want to have to pay for any postage !!)

Will try it later and see if it works !

That was a nice surprise, must be some reason you got it? You remember entering any online comps, etc?

On a side note does anyone know if gift vouchers purchased in store can be used with online purchases?

Well, I just did it.

It only worked ! 2 boxes of pro vs and 2 sets of spikes came to just over £90. Applied the code (£40 off) and it came to just over £50 for the free delivery. Paid and have a confirmation of order in my inbox.

It must be my birthday !

Actually, it IS my birthday (big five O), so I'm guessing the two events are not unrelated. However, there is no mention of it in the email with the voucher code in.

I have given some thought to my American golf purchase history. Since I started playing golf 8 years ago I can remember only 3 buys - a square nike driver o), an odyssey putter and a 3 pack of pinnacle balls o). There may have been the odd thing when I've wandered through, but nothing significant.
