OK, so just had an email from American golf asking me to do a survey, and i could win a prize!

Anyone spot what i think is a mistake?

1st Prize - A 2010 Ryder Cup flag signed by Colin Montgomerie

2nd Prize - A custom fit set of Ping Irons

3rd Prize - One of 5 boxes of a Dozen Premium Golf Balls

2nd prize far outweighs 1st!

Even if you flogged the monty flag the value would be less than the Clubs surely... Very typical AG a bit backwards

Took the survey and what a load of tosh, moan number 2 about AG ,got a load of vouchers from work for 10 years service tried to use them over the phone today no use have to use in store only, nearest store is 65 miles away.

Lol, I was going to post exactly the same thing. Just done the survey but kept choosing the wrong options through giggling at the prize structure!

Hi Steve, check this site:
http://www.ceoemail.com/
You'll find the Email address of the CEO of AG.
Express your disappointment to him personally (and politely).
I've used the info on there to great effect whenever I have had an issue with a company and always had a resolution.
CEO's mostly want stuff off their desk and delegate a gopher to make you go away - happy.
In their defence I'll admit that a few have responded personally and swiftly.

PS Im not a serial complainer, I use it after trying the "usual channels" that fail to act - BT, British Gas, Lloyds TSB.......

It certainly is Farneyman.
I've had some pretty swift and effective response from "CEO Executive Complaints" rather than Customer Services.

That website has been my first port of call for some time now, whenever I've received the brush-off from the customer service lackeys... amazing how quickly a wee email to the CEO gets the desired result. I've used it to great effect against Santander, Virgin Media and Vodafone.

As to the survey, I've filled it in... some of the options to the rating questions were a bit weird though.

I wonder if the winner would be alllowed to forfeit the prize and get 2nd place prize instead, i know that's what i'd ask for! I filled in the survey, was pretty long and painful!
