Not a bashing thread, just a note to advise of the excellent service i received recently at the Irvine store from Stuart Cochrane, i'm not connected in any way to the store BTW, i had an issue with my Powerbug battery failing 2 weeks after warranty ran out, i just happened to mention it to him as i was buying a glove. He asked me to bring it in and he'd send it back, 1 week later i got a phone call from the store telling me a new battery had arrived, great service from AG and Powerbug, thanks guys. Just felt that it's easy to slate big companies for poor service, so it's only fair to give praise where it's due.

Got my Ping irons from them.

AG were doing a 20% off everything deal for online purchases and G15s had just been reduced from £400+ to £369.

I would have been able to order the irons for delivery for under £300 but I decided to phone a few stores to see if they'd honour the price instore. Only Irvine did- even though the staff were outraged at the huge discount applied to what was a very expensive set of irons at the time.

That's a bit of a jaunt for you V, but worth it, i was the same with the Powebug trolley, their on line shop price was way lower than in store price, but they matched it.
