When I bought my putter from AG I signed up to their club, so got the free golf lesson from them.

I'm going for it on Sunday, on the form I filled out online I said I was a beginner and wanted advice on stance and swing. So I'm hoping they can teach me something good in these beginning stages.

Has anyone else had a lesson from AG before? I know it's probably all down to the Pro who's taking the lesson but want to see other people opinion of them.

I have not had one, but I do know 3 PGA pro's that work for American Golf and would certainly trust any of them for a lesson. Just make sure they don't try and push you down the "you could do with new bats" route...

Cool, thanks for the advice. You reminded me to call them and ask if I need to bring my own clubs.

Yes take your clubs. As if not they will give you a nice set, they will show you how well you are hitting them and before you know it, boom, you've bought them. ;)Remember it is mostly the swing, not the clubs!

I did the same (not a putter though, small purchase, gloves I think) and had my free lesson before Christmas.
The pro I saw was great (Suzanne).
I think the AG membership entitles you to a free lesson every year? though might be wrong.
