AMERCAN GOLF RIP OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!! American Golf had a 25% Sale in their Cork Store in Ireland since early December, while charging full price in all of their UK Stores .Obviously UK Residents have more money???????

Hardly constitutes a rip off does it? What's the Cork market like? Perhaps it was needed there or they could be in trouble. Way too many variables at this stage to start a lazy journalist approach and cry "rip off "! It's a different country too. Maybe all the other Cork shops have been having discounts too?

They do price match so the price in Cork will be the same on the mainland, their website does not discriminate between Ireland and UK.

However, in Ireland they have Euros and a different rate of VAT, so difficult to make a direct price comparison in the UK.

Can't see a price match being agreed, it's no different to finding the same product in Germany and asking for the same price, Cork is ROI and in the grand scheme of things a different European country.
I have an excellent relationship in my local AG, they can't do enough for me and I hear the same from many other friends, so I think it's always unfair to tarnish the company name in general as some branches are run extremely well.

AG's very different nowdays I remember back in the day when it was American Golf Discount and was a genuine golf discount store, nowdays its owned by a bank and run like a bank
