Am i about to make a huge mistake...

ok so tonight is twilight golf night, clubs are in the car, and ive just took my older 09 burner out to take some pics for the the forsale section and its now leaning by the wall in the office. given im only just clicking with the R11, would it be destructive to take the old burner out for a couple of back to back comparisons.

I know the r11 is only a 440cc head but if im honest i dont see it as forgiving as the burner, but now the striking is consistent it would be good for a few tests,....... wouldnt it.?

Well I did the right thing, old bitch in the boot abd new White stick in the bag, I've been striking the ball well recently so today was a day to see what the r11 would deliver now swinging with faith in my recent swing changes.

WOW!

On a par 5 470 yards I was blessed with a 8i 145 yards to the middle of the green as a second shot - yes I missed the 10ft eagle putt, after realising how well I was striking I started to look at my pitch points of last Tuesdays drives on average I was carrying them 20 yards past. Best shot of the round was a tracked drive down the 11th measured at 305. Granted this runs out slightly downhill but finally got confidence like I had with the old burner -

Ps note to all the d2 owners, that's one miss-shaped head you have on them sticks, so glad I didn't buy one of them

I hated the shape of the Superfast, and it looked like the toe was pointing to the sky when I tried it. That and the pointless tippex coating!

I'm looking at the Titleist driver and hopefully taking a demo D3 out tomorrow after it outhit my Burner by 10 yards on the one shot I've hit with it and I caught the TM perfectly.

I like the look of the D3, but the D2 is fugly for a Titleist.

If I had any spare cash at all, I'd go look at one. But I haven't, so I'm sticking with my Nikes.
