next time can it be on a day when im not playing, havent played for a month so was really pleased to get on the course today , pulled up in the car park and down it came, shouldnt have gone out but did got bloody soaked and the sun came out on the last hole, apart from that had a good day, :D

Yup, 36 hole stroke play today, got soaked. Perfect. And went up point one.

Started bogey, quadruple, treble too. Solid start.

it was the bit where we were on the 7th, chucking it down, soaking wet, surrounded by black clouds and my mate said "i think its brightning up over there", unfortunately over there was about twenty miles away, although he was right the sun came out on the 18th, sounds like your round was as enjoyable as mine murph :D

been in the same situation homer, seems like its one thing after another but you'll sort it out eventually , the golf course is a good place to get away from it all for a bit, all the best

Went out this morning, rained during the night, rained on the way to the course, drizzled as we started. stopped by the time we got to the first green, sun was out before we got to the second green. Sitting here with sunburn now.....

played in our medal today, teed off at 10.53 finished about 14.40 to suddenly had a huge shower and a five minute thunder storm which meant the abandonment of todays competition..

Teed off at 11:30 and the rain was just slowing down to nothing. Waterproof top off near the first green. Jumper off around the 4th. Sunglasses on by the 10th. Started raining again just as I was putting the kit in the car.

Not a drop where I was playing in Skegness but they really need it, they have not had any for 12 weeks and the fairways are burnt to a crisp.

Still, we won the match, we won my game 2 up and I played well under my handicap. Good day for my first club match

Been awake about 15 mins, it's hacking it down here, not got a clue what to wear as golfweather.com reckons no rain, bloody liars

Hope some of it comes down this way, we need some rain.
Had a few drops yesterday morning but certainly not enough to soften things up

The amount we've had over the last 2 days will only help our course and should be in great nick for today's comp.

Has been perfect for everyone in Grantham for the last couple of days, plenty of rain at night then sunshine all day. Result is a course in good condition and great weather to enjoy it in.
