Should the threat of an "All out war" on America, South Korea and Japan from the young new leader of North Korea Kim Jong-Un, be taken very seriously?

More so, if such an attack happened, what would be the ramifications of a defensive strike against North Korea by a combined allied force and what, if any, would Britain's involvement be?

Would China & Russia sit back or could this start the big one?

Nothing hopefully.Unless N Korea attacks us specifically, we remain neutral.UN peace keeping only please.We've hung on the coat tails of America too often recently.

If it is the big one then at least it's on the other side of the world huh? My course should still be open, although probably still on temps :thup: If we join in then it'll only help to justify further tax increases,... and I'd expect my annual subscription would go up :(

America, Japan and South Korea would flatten N. Korea in about 2 weeks if necessary.... depends what China and Russia say. Does N. Korea have oil? :p

China have always defended North Korea. However after the recent underground nuclear test they changed tac a little.

If the actually had the minerals to launch a nuclear strike, I think any support they have in Beijing would soon evaporate.
 
Have you noticed how this Kim Jong-Un looks a bit like 'Ed Balls' Maybe they are both androids programmed to destroy their countries economies?

They have a very low yield weapon, that is apparently too heavy to sit atop one of their fireworks.

Their missiles lack the range to reach US soil, however they would flatten Seol within minutes.

Then the North would be turned into a mirror if that happened. Who knows what the Chinese would do, I'd rather not think about it truth be told.

Given how controlled and isolated the North Korean population is from the outside world, I wonder what would happen if this closed country is suddenly opened up to the world. I imagine a lot of the people would struggle with the change and struggle to believe just how different the world actually is.

We have no choice in this, we owe America massively when they joined the second world war. If they hadn't we would have been German.

Not necessarily. We may have starved to death, possibly, but once Germany turned it's attentions to Russia, and didn't take Moscow and subsequent events, they were always on the path to destruction.
