The drought is over. For the last 3 or 4 weeks my putter has gone AWOL for absolutely no reason at all and it's been getting to me but today it all came back. I missed a couple of makable ones but they were misreads and actually good putts and on the whole it was back to it's reliable best. I've been doing a bit of carpet practice this week and decided their was nothing wrong so just went out there today and decided to get myself into the not caring about the result mood. The result was 29 putts, my Scotty is back in the good books

Did you win or get a cut

Neither, buffer. 15pts at the turn and standing on the 16th tee 1 under h'cap before sticking drive OB and blobbing. Parred 1 & doubled 18 despite being 72yds from the pin in two. Putting was great though

Went out for 9 tonight after getting out of my appointment. Couldn't get the pace. Three putted 1, 2 and 4. Never felt the swing was under control, having had a dose of the sockets at the range last night. Pitching and chipping a revelation.
