Hi all.
I have an alignment question, I have been fighting a slice with the driver for a while, the only reliable cure I can find is to play the ball a few inches forward & to draw my left foot back 6 inches whilst still keeping my shoulders parallel with my target.

My question is regarding open / closed stance, when you draw either foot back to create an open or closed stance, do you keep your shoulders parallel with the target, or do you align you shoulders with your foot position, whilst keeping the club face pointing at the target?
Thanks in advance.

You will swing along the line of your shoulders. So if your shoulders are square to target so will your swing be. Hence why a lot of beginners slice! They will square their feet to the target line, but have the shoulders open. So swinging out to in. Ok there are more reasons why they slice. That is just one off them. Thats just an example, to help answer your question.
