Had a test drive with a tour edge exotics demo day today.

After deciding my future shaft (rifle 5.5) We had a test with two graphite shafts...

The proforce V2 by UST which was an awesome shaft and is really nice... I think I had a 65 g stiff shaft in...

AND THE EVEN MORE AWESOME ALDILA VOODOO...

What a shaft. Didn't hit the ball further, but it went absolutely bullet straight as long as I didn't fowl it up...

Came home over the moon...

And fell down to earth again when looking at the price of these...

200 BUCKS!!!!!

Thats not even putting it on for my driver and all... Not even trimming...

Do any of you guys know where I could find one for a lot less...

Otherwise I'm stuck with the V2, which isn't too bad, but a Voodoo would be better...

And the spec was the svs7... which is awesome...

Thanks for the find... I really appreciate it...

Couldn't buy it as he only sends to the brit isles...

Not to the lowlands...

Oh well I'll just carry on...

Thanks anyway.

I wanted a Voodoo shaft a while ago this seemed to be the cheapest option http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BENROSS-VX-PROTO--...2374f17ff3017d2 buying a new Benross driver swopping the shafts and then flogging the Benross after. You can get them for about £120 from an online golf shop where you can specify the loft, flex etc.

Hope that helps fella.

I was going to suggest exactly the same. As long as the shaft is the same and not a 'made for Benross' version then it seems the cheapest option (and you may even prefer the Benross head)

my favorite shaft is the graffaloy prolaunch red. had it put into my 3-wood for about 30 euro and i now hit it better than my hybrid which has a diamana blue stiff shaft. i tried many different shafts in the 3 wood in a custom-fitting session including the aldila voodoo but this one outshone them all. even better than some shafts that the pro promised would be more forgiving than the prolaunch

I sent a PM to the OP advising that Tour Edge can offer custom shafts and the upcharge will be a lot less than any of those options. The Voodoo was the standard shaft in last years model at standard price. No need to but a club and an extra shaft.
