Evening all,

Just a quick heads up, Aldi have been selling two dozen lakeballs for a tenner for the past couple of weeks. I was dubious at first but had a go when they were in pre-fathers day and they're not all that bad. They're most likely not going to suit your run-of-the-mill forum scratch player with a penchant for a Pro V1x, but for your high handicapper they might save you a bob or two.

I've now got myself 48 Titleist/Pinnacle (other choice is Nike/Topflite) for £20 and I promise I will try my best not to lose them before January is over.

Key phrase "try my best" :D

Cheers for the heads up! Bit of a lake ball fan myself. As a high handicapper that looses atleast one a round especially this time of year, just picked up 50 pearl grade Bridgestone e6 for 34 quid. Will be sure to give these a try tho. Argos also do a mix for 19.99 48 balls, but I found the quality and makes poor. Aldi just opened 2 minutes walk from the door aswell, bonus

Tesco selling a dozen Callway Hex Chromes for £4.50 ,just bought 5 dozen for a grand total of £22.50 ,sorted for the winter and next years practise balls:thup:

On holiday in Mauritius a local was going to sell me twenty pro V1x lake balls for 20$ until I saw them. God they were a mess some of the pro Vs must of been 10-15 yr old. I have bought some good lake balls in the past but these were disgusting
