Have been playing for 18 months and have been seeing some steady improvement. However, putting and especially shortish putts, say less than 5ft have been a real problem. Read books watched Youtube but still tended to miss left .
Putting on the carpet at home and experimented with changing grip, grip pressure, stance, ball position and all the rest until I tried gripping with just the left hand with the right barely holding the putter at all. This at least for me seems to be the key. Have started using it with longer putts and short shots with positive results. The club seems to release through more naturally.

If you are pushing your putts left- give it a try.

Just wondered mate , i practice putt alot one handed , but im right handed and i putt with right hand only ..

just a practice tip next time you get a chance , make 2 lines of balls just wider than your putter, and the ball you are putting in the middle, keep narrowing in the distance , it will make sure you are putting straight through the ball should stop the push /pull..

red 0 is the ball

so, you mean pulling them left you mean....you push them right!

If i start pulling them, it does mean to me that my right hand is getting a little active. Try to imagine the back of your left hand (and even the palm of your right hand) mirror the club face, and that if they go off course, so will the putter face
