After using my sc now for the last few months and trying to slow my whole game down a fair bit I feel maybe I need to be thinking about using a reg flex.

My drivers now seem to be around 200/210 yards and swing speed is just over 100mph. ( swing speed was tested awhile ago but could be slower again from that)

The mate who plays off the same hc as myself is now hitting the driver a good 40/50 yards more on avg.

Also to note I can put the 5 wood the same distance as driver (well within 10 yards of it)

Just not sure if it's down to flex or something along those lines. I do get a nice shape on my drives now and hit alot more fairways than I did. But it's the fact that at the minute I feel there is no point in carry the driver in the bag.

Any ideas?

I have a 13 deg one that goes at least the same distance as a driver off the tee.

Can't understand why this is tho, feels the same swing with the driver gives less distance lol.

Think I might have to test this out with the club pro. Maybe flex does not have anything to do with it. Just have something eating away at me telling me I should be using reg flex.

If you have just over 100mph driver speed, 200-210 yards is a very poor return, so something is up with the swing or strike. You would expect more like 240 yards carry from a good strike and launch. In normal circumstances, 100mph should cope with stiff shafts (UST Proforce) in the MD driver.
