AG Tour Truck event

I've just noticed that my local AG are having one of their Tour Truck things on Saturday and I thought I might go along and have a go on their Flightscope machine.

I'm not really looking to buy, although if they said that FG62s were the clubs for me, they might end up with a sale I'm just interested in getting an assessment of my gear to see if I need to consider a change i.e. if it's wildly unsuitable.

Anyone been to one of these events? Any thoughts as to whether it's worthwhile or not?

A little tip, I've be warned by someone in the know that the fg62 are being pumped out in the trade very cheap to pro shops, if you happen to be a standard spec (r300, s300, x100) you should be looking to pay about 300 a set if you shop about.

Unlucky for me i need Kbs in them to make them work, which is a £40 charge and made to order, so not deals to be had.... Gutted,

There was a shop online that was pumping brand new 3-pw out at 299.00, and I know they would have been making about £60 a set

I wouldn't mind betting that is fairways pro shop , they sell a fair amount on eBay.

Went to one up here, was told to take my 6i. Tried a couple of heads and couple of shafts none of which were longer or straighter so walked back out happy that I had the right club in my hand. Guy seemed fairly knowledgable and wasn't overly pushy. Not the most thorough test but good enough for free
