Just had an offer of this at the local AG so wondered what they actually do ?

I suppose it depends on the store, the one here i wouldn't trust them to take the protective plastic off a new club

Get mine done every year at my local store. Check the loft and lies on the simulator and bend them back into shape. Absolutley no pressure to buy anything while they're doing it.

Basically do your loft and lies and hope that you see something shiny you like in the demo bags, good service imo.
