Right there have been quite a few threads about the orange. As an aside I think it's a little blinkered as forum and magazine advertising keeps the purchase price of the magazine down and often results in excellent reader/forumer opportunities but that's not the purpose of this thread. I'm curious to know what you currently think is the best looking driver on the market and whether you would describe your age as being a young gun, middle of the road or old fart.

I've got nothing against the AMP but the grip!!! Too bright for me. Sleek and matt black for me i20 all day long. Oh and I'm middle of the road

Old fart here I guess (dont feel it). Not bothered about the colour of anything. Its if it works or not. But do find all this orange on site distracting!

I'd like to still consider myself as 'middle of the road' but in reality most would consider me now as an 'old fart' :(...

Even if they 'worked' for me I couldn't see a white headed driver finding its way into my bag...

Other than that not too fussed about looks... Tend to pick my kit on how it works for me... Or potentially at least ;)...

Middle of the road here, still think I'm 24 though until I catch a glimpse of my reflection!

Colour no issue to me TBH, as long as it works!

New TaylorMade, Callaway & Ping float my boat

Looks are important.
I've been very tempted by the RBZ but the White head turns me off every time.
Maybe a bit short-sighted but somehow "I" wouldn't feel right with a white headed club.
Orange on the head - crown or sole - just doesn't float my boat, neither does yellow.
The grey of the G20 is ok but I do prefer Black.
Call me an Old Fart if you like...

Best looking...?
i20.......

Can confidently say im one of the youngest on here! ;) But dont really mind as long as i get on with it and it sits good behind the ball! i do tend to like the tradional pear shape to a massive great big block behind the ball! and do prefer a classic black to the new age white, but if i hit a white one well i would use it! but overall, i feel the best two drivers out there atm are the Titleist 910 D3 or the i20, man that thing is pureeeeee!!

I 2nd Imurg all the way with this thread

Old fart here.
White drivers or those with brightly coloured adornments don't do anything for me. I really can't see one finding its way into the bag.
The i20 is a thing of beauty and if I was looking to change then it would be the first I'd consider.

Amp without a doubt.

1) the metallic silver head is subtle and looks conventional behind the ball but not obese
2) has the black face like most of the others rbz, r11, i20 etc
3) had a gloss finish head - not a fan of matte finish
4) shaft keys in nice with the club colour scheme

The only downside is the road cone high vis orange grip.

I'm on the edge of the middle aged abyss!!

I would have a Cobra or a White driver in the bag if it was better than anything else.

The best driver I have seen (ie laid eyes on) , better looking imo than the i20, is the Callaway Razr X black

I'd say I'm a young gun (someone has to!) and am not averse to the AMP for example. My MD 3-wood is a little on the yellow/orange side of things and I like that. However, I am in love with the i20. Still not tried it but EVERY visit to the pro-shop sees one end up in my hands being waggled. Gorgeous club.

Aged 45 does that qualify me for grumpy old man status. Certainly off the grumpometer right now. I have tried white clubs (my hybrid is a TM superfast) and so the visual impact perhaps isn't my biggest concern although there are some that have jazzy decals and put me off. I'll take performance over looks all day although it has to sit right behind the ball for my eye. I think orange is perhaps a step too far though

38 so think thats middle of the road, don't care it could be tartan with pink spots but if it works it's in the bag.My driver is white with a white shaft and grip and looks the business (oh it works well to!)

Being youngish I'm very much the traditional type of fella, and i don't really like change although I accept that change is usually the way forward.

I use what's right for me but i don't like white head drivers/putters.

But its each to their own.
