I've just cleaned my Tour Velvet grips for the first time. Normally a scrub with soapy water brings the tackiness back but with these there's no improvement at all. Has anyone got a recommendation for grips that stay tacky for more than a few weeks. I've used half cord grips before and, to my mind, they give a lot more grip. Anywhere better than Gamola Golf to buy them?

Iomic are very good, but are very, very expensive (circa £10/grip). Their a Sticky series get he some pretty good reviews.

I'm a full cord man myself as I'm. It a fan of tacky feeling grips.

Gamola are fantastic for grips. They are, probably, the best place to look. Adore golf grips are pretty good. I've used them I the past when Gamola haven't had stock of what I wanted.

I dont know if they do grips for irons but ive got a karakal grip on my putter and its very tacky , worth a look
