Adjustable irons

Do you think there will be fully adjustable irons? More importantly do you think they would be successful?

There was an iron that covered every iron in the bag 20 years ago. Extendable shaft, adjustable loft. It is no longer for sale.

What about opening and closing the face, would ever be possible on an iron you think?

Next big change in irons is more likely to be different metals used in the head rather than adjustability. Don't think the replaceable groove TM wedges did very well sales wise either.

but you can do that with any iron now with twisting the grip

Can't see it myself. Different materials in the production definitely and maybe even a radical shape but othe rthan that no. You can adjust the clubs you have by opening or shutting the face and moving the ball position

I would have thought that a certain company would have already patented the 'Ping Kerching'........
