Last night while bouncing around online looking for a set of winter boots I noticed zero's and zero six spikes at massively reduced prices. Well today visiting another club for a game while snooping in the pro shop I noticed there two adizeros were massively reduced.

6 spikes £45
Tours £95

I was so tempted at the six spikes for winter use but with recent publicity didn't want to buy a set knowing some courses are banning them,,, makes me wonder if there has been a release from TMAG to shop to get stock cleared.

Tours have been £75 for few weeks now down to £70! Shop around?

There's so,etching more going on here, the new revolutionary shoe that was going to change the world being sold off at less than 50% of the srrp, don't see that happening with any other brand,

Plus being considered unsuitable for winter use and possibllybanned in some clubs.
I did consider some, but didn't like them more than the pumas so bought some cell fusions.

New 2014 ranges are not far off. Saw some of Nikes stuff for next year - great looking gear :)

So much choice now - fabulous.

The prices have been eroding for months. I picked up my six spikes ages ago for £56 (way less than the launch price).... plus as usual the new shoes will be announced soon and hence these ones will be seen as out of date (clearly they won't be waterproof after this new one is released and will be very uncomfortable too)

Btw. The adicross 2 have gone under the same reductions ... And agin could be picked up for £29.99 just recently, with the new version already been seen in sneak peak pictures.

Got them in May and played Westbury in exeter in monsoon conditions, played a few others in very wet conditions and have used them at home club pretty much every week (except for rock hard mid summer) and have not had any issues of 'damage' or indentations in the wet.

How are you finding the six spikes in the wet?

I've had the six spikes since summer and I'm not one for looking after my shoes, rub down with a damp cloth now and again and that's it and I've had no problems with water leaking in at all and I've played some wet boggy courses recently.

Only thing I will say is your feel the cold a little more in them as there isn't much too them to keep heat in/the cold out.

For the price you can pick them up for now they are a bargain winter shoe though.

They are releasing new versions in the coming weeks hence why the current version reduces in price

But nothing beats a good conspiracy theory

What they like for dryness

I picked up some 6 spike Adizeros for winter use and have been really impressed so far. Worn them about a dozen times in some wet conditions as well and feet have been bone dry. Very comfortable as well.

Wore them today and didn't notice any large indents, and I am an ex prop forward so hardly light on my feet!

Appreciate there is some press about heels wearing out, but so far I am more than happy with them.

Have to admit that my mizuno stability shoes were leaving some pretty big indents at the weekend and I knew they were mine as the mizunos have very unique spikes. They seemed to bounce bag quickly enough though. Will wear my adizeros next week to see if they are any different.

Anybody able to clarify why some clubs might be banning them ?

Only one confirmed - The Vale and because they investigated the "damage" to their greens and the offending party was the Adizero.

I wear them and have witnessed no problems on any green. Have seen a few golf balls making big holes in the green though - think they might be banned soon
