Anyone got a pair of these trousers, and if so what's their thoughts?
Compared to Galvin Green they're certainly a lot cheaper and as it's the GoreTex element that keeps you dry, why would you want to buy Galvin Green instead?

Goretex is one of the greatest inventions ever and any gear that contains it is worth having. A guy I work with is ex forces and his time was both before and after Goretex. He gets quite misty eyed with emotion when he remembers trialling Goretex and then when it was introduced. "Dry nights", he keeps gibbering, "finally dry nights".

Got a pair of these for £99 a few weeks ago. Tried them out last weekend in 4 hours of heavy rain. Perfect, they really are great. Nice and comfortable and bone dry inside. I didn't put any other trousers under these. I had to go up to a medium size though as a little snug round the waist and I consider myself slim at 30 - 32" waist.
