Adams XTD Ti Fairways

Ive been looking at getting a 3 wood for some time and saw these at what i think was a really good price. Matrix red tie shaft as standard. Made a best offer and now waiting delivery. Time will tell if its a bargain or not but who is using one at present and thoughts?

Bought a 13.5 (adjusted to 15) with same shaft through the forum and couldn't be happier with it. Knocked my 10-12yo Sonartec out of bag which took some doing!

3Woods are like Putters - once you find one that you get on with, it's tough to part with it!

I have the Super LS fairway, which preceded the XTD and it’s a monster. That said, the XTD “increases ball speed by up to 29%” over the Super LS on off centre hits (according to Adams) so I’d wager you’ve got quite the weapon there! I have the XTD driver and I love it, wouldn’t mind the same as Foxholer as well, 13.5* cranked up a bit!
