Hi guys went for a fitting at DG Today originally wanted the Rbz stage 2 3 wood but after testing it seemed the adams super s came out on top averaging around 220 off the tee the Guy said this was mainly down to the different shaft in the adams. Basically I've not much knowledge I adams so do they make good clubs? Is the super s worth buying or was the guy just trying to shift the adams?
Cheers t

see my sig. adams are soooo easy to hit and the fairway having two slots makes a difference. i like my super ls with the karokage shaft. its my 220 yard plus club where my previous wood was 205 ish.
plus mine didnt cost me anything:whoo:

I have the Speedline Super S driver and love it (matrix hd shaft, reg). In the bag I have nothing between the driver and the Mizuno MP-CLK 20* hybrid. I really like that too, very easy to hit so have been looking for the 17* but its discontinued so am eBay hunting. Having said that, heard so much about the Adams hybrids that I'm also thinking about ditching the search for a mizzy and going hitting a few Adams with a view to purchase instead.

Adams make good clubs, especially hybrids and fairways. This line that they are better than TM because of the shaft is probably partly true, at least as far as a comparison with the non-Tour/TP Taylor Mades are concerned.

Cheers guys gonna get to american golf tomorrow as I hear the d100 wood also comes withy the matrix Ozik shaft in so maybe worth trying it up against the super s

Adams are big in the states getting bigger in europe and all who try seem suitably impressed as the lucky forumers who had fittings will tell!

spotted an adams in JR's bag in his interviews over the weekend whether it was there because of the taylormade-adidas try up or because its in the bag.....

The senior tour seemed to be sponsored by Adams, certainly in apparel, as quite a lot of the players were wearing Adams visors. Must be a premium to those not under contract with other manufacturers.

Am one of the previously mentioned forumers lucky enough to have the fitting. Actually ended up with the LS fairway, and the S hybrids.

To the OP questions - yes they do, as they all do really - more about finding something that works for you. Can't imagine any difference to the sales guy if he sells Adams or TM really but who knows. As has been mentioned a big brand in US with less presence over here for now.

To Odvan - I had the MP CLK in 23 and the MP 650 in 19. I had the clk for the smaller head from rough but I struggled for consistency with it. Really liked the MP 650 though and thought they would struggle to remove it from my bag. They did though.
