Hi

Appreciate this thread could head south for a few reasons. However i need a heads up.

Been hitting my 2 hybrid shockingly at the range recently. Nothing unusual there i suppose, however its normally my fave club.

I had a look at the face and it appears to be slightly concave. I have even placed a straight edge vertically down the face and i can see daylight near the centre of the club. the face is much more inny than it is outy, if that makes sense. It does not look damaged in anyway, just slightly (less than a mm) concave

Looked all over and cant seen anything online that describes the face shape.

Could the club be defective, or am i talking rubbish and blaming the club for my shocking swing?

i have damaged an Adams Hybrid before, but that was a big ol crack. Nothing like what i have described above. I have a fairly quick swing, but not half as fast as some one here.

Not sure how relevant but just looked at my adams red hybrid and the face is slightly convex which i think is as you would expect for gear effect on a wood style face. Sounds to me like you may have damaged yours, def worth getting it looked at by a pro/clubfitter

Cheers Fundy

Thats a good point. I dont suppose anyone with a pro could do quick check also? Apologises for the cheeky request but want to know if i need to swap this club or seek a replacement etc

Thanks again

Cheers.

Went to the range again last night. Club felt dead. Had a closer look and there is a hairline crack running parallel with the top groove.

Gutted

My favourite club by far. Doubt Adams will help as it's nearly 3 years old.

That's two Adams hybrids I've done now. Must have a very thin face. Mind you they performed like no other distance wise.

Shame.

How long have you had it. I'd take it back to the pro and see if it can be fixed or returned
