The DHY is more like a driving iron than a hybrid (the Pro and Pro Mini are more hybrid like in the range) but it does offer a low-spin long iron replacement.
I can honestly say I wasn't too sure what to make of it when I had it in my hand. It looks a lot more like an oldie driving iron, rather than a hybrid that it says on the hosel. Probably gives some people a better feeling as they have kept hold of their long irons rather than moving to hybrids.
It feels quite weighty in the head, likely to do with the compact head size, and I felt quite positive with this, as it helps to get a feeling of where the head is during the swing.
Value for money is something that a hybrid should deliver (after all it's probably replacing a perfectly serviceable long iron, rather than filling a gap). The Adams was awesome of the tee, but requires a lot to get it airborne from the turf, and it wasn't as forgiving as it larger brothers.
