Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone has come across Adams CMB irons anywhere? I have been trying them and am quite keen but I cannot find anywhere selling online so I do not know what I would expect to be paying!

Many thanks

Direct golf have them but they aint cheap. Not many sets come up on ebay either. Ive been keeping an eye out. They ar nice looking bats !!

I have tried the clubs, have been working hard to find something to compare with and failing. The C-taper should not really suit me as I am smooth and am not all that fast but the combo of shaft and head just felt very controlled, distance was no worse than anything else I tried and I had to work darned hard to make the ball go anywhere other than straight.

I agree that the C-taper seems to want to make the ball go straight. Great shaft in my opinion.

I was lucky enough to pick up a set on ebay for just over 400 notes a month or so ago. More than I wanted to pay for a second hand set but as you say you don't see many sets around. Now I have had a few rounds with them, I think they are worth every penny, best irons I have ever hit.

No GW it seems.

For general info, I got the clubs from andrew morris golf, based in Northern Ireland but they do mail order if you ask. The set was £500 smackers which is a hell of a lot less than anywhere other than ebay and, when you factor in those c-taper shafts and the multicompound grips, really something of a steal.

That really is a bargain. I paid £410 for mine second hand, did come with the elusive GW though. Maybe you could try importing one from the states where Adams have a bigger market. If I ever get to go back to Vegas I will pick one up for you :)

Since they are now being replaced by the XTD, they are no longer making the CMB. I have looked at a few places but, by the time you ship it over, it is going to be the better part of £150. Much as I would like the continuity, I can get a mack daddy 2 with c-taper and multicompound grip, plus £50 change...
