Simple question, after 40+ years of playing this game I'm still waiting to pop my cherry :(

One for me.

I think you are worrying about it too much, and that may well effect your performance. Just relax, they say the first time ain't the greatest, but I tell ya, If I had the chance 2 do it all again, I wouldn't change my stroke.

This sounds vaguely like some advice I was given when I was 16 but that was on a different subject. But it did happen........eventually ;)

None for me and never even seen one with a playing partner..

Well my first was luck from a tree :D

The rest were lovely strikes with a nice little spin back into the hole :ears:

I've only had one but mines was like that, pitch about 5 feet past the hole then spin back into it, none of this thin one along the ground rubbish :)

Two on the same weekend (Friday and Sunday) on the same hole at my home club. One witnessed, one not. I have the flag framed at home and both balls.

Both flukes.

1 for me. 190yrd slightly uphill so didn't see it drop but knew it was good.

Walked up..No sign of the ball on the green.. Checked off the back, No.
Checked the hole and dropped to my knees like Constantino Rocca.

4 for me, but I can't see the poll on my phone. Will vote later.

It certainly isn't skill if I can do it!

I would argue, assuming it did not ricochet in off a rock or dribble along the floor something like that, it was extreme skill for those 5 or so seconds. Yes you probably can't replicate it again, but for those 5 seconds you were as skillful as any golfer on the planet.;)
