Accra driver shaft

I have an Accra SC 65 T M3 in my Taylormade R9 supertri . I'm looking to get an Accra shaft for my R15 head with the same specs. Has anyone any experience with this? Would an Accra tour Z LS 75 M3 be the closest match? Any help appreciated thanks. Martin

Hi Martin, might be worth contacting somewhere like Golf Principles in Basingstoke as I'm pretty sure they stock them and they are extremely knowledgeable by all accounts. Merv79 from on here went up there and I'm sure it was an Accra shaft he was fitted for.

As they are both TM drivers could you not swap the shaft.

I found the Tour Z LS quite a bit stouter than the SC 65 - an oldy but goody! Admittedly it was in a 9064LS head, which is a fairly 'hard' face, but it didn't have the same 'stable with feel' tip as the SC65.

FWIW, I have a (slightly battered) Accra Prototype - that became the SC - 65gm M3 in a Sonartec 3 wood. If you want that, i could get it extracted (don't trust myself to do it on graphite yet) and a plug fitted to make it Driver length. You could have it for cost - probably about a tenner. It has a quite large bag mark courtesy of a previous owner! I loved the feel!

Oh. The additional weight of the Tour Z LS 75 will have an effect (probably negatively) too!

Your probably right. I'll pass on the 3 wood shaft offer as only get even more confused. My thinking on the 75g was the R15 head is heavier than the R9.I'll probably have to go back to a club fitter I've seen already, just thought I'd ask around first. Thanks for your time and help

Accra SC 65 T M3 is 69 grams, mid/high flight with mid stiff tip. Closest current Accra shaft might be the Fx 270 M3. A heavy-ish regular flex.

That said, get fit if you have the budget. Jason, Golf Principles.

Would recommend emailing Accra Direct they are very good at responding to queries I ve had in the past. Gawain is the person I ve mostly dealt with. Other than that Lee Porter is the European distributor for Accra.
