Anybody else watching? There has been some great action, and excellent results. Particular note for Colin Montgomeire, well done to the big Scot for beating Jim Furyk 3 & 2! Any comments on the days play so far?

Very surprised/disappointed at Ernie Els.

As you say, great result for Monty. Lets see if JB can hold his lead over Woods however he is playing really really slow.

yea, I thought that JB may be deliberately stalling his game to try and get to Tiger, but the way the commentators are talking he is always like it. I must confess I haven't seen him before, and would certainly be all for an upset. Not that I have anything against Tiger.

I just love the fed-ex ad's - so funny, the one with the fake office wall....classic!!

Not so sure I can cope with the eye candy girl presenter...pretty, but why oh why....????....

Some good wins for the europeans-Garcia, Monty, Harrington, Westwood and Poulter.

Looks like Tiger is on his way back level after 16 both on in 2 on the 17th this game could go to extra holes.

I am not Tigers biggest fan but I was egging him on to beat that humpty BJ Holms. The guy is an irritating red neck. How many practice swings do you need ya muppet?

too right. its behaviour like that which is creeping into club golf hence the longer rounds. people take 5,6,7 practice swings before every shot because they see guys doing it on tv.

although he probably won't admit it, I bet Tiger was frustrated by this routine. As the commentators mentioned, I don't know how he got away with it. An official should have put him on the clock if it was as bad as it appeared.

Tiger did complain about Richie Ramsay last year so may have something to say about JB. Even if it is just to encourage the officials to take action against slow play offenders.

Bravo Andra. I was coming on to say the exact same thing. Not Tigers greatest fan, but for the first time ever I was actually shouting YES! when Tiger was on his birdie run from the 14th onwards. An absolutely awesome performance when it was required.
We are indeed in the presence of greatness. I can't think of any other player who can rise to that level after playing so badly in the first 13 holes.
Great that the Europeans have done so well (Especially Monty).
Looking forward to great golf watching weekend.

PS. That guy should be shot for his tortoise style of play. utterly ridiculous. Hopefully he will be destroyed by this defeat and he'll disappear, never to be seen again.

David Toms withdrew from the World Golf Championships-Accenture Match Play Championship on Thursday due to a back injury. As a result, Aaron Baddeley, who was to play Toms in the second round, advances to face the winner of Thursday's match between Arron Oberholser and Tiger Woods.

Monty wins again!! Another good result. Howell III and Furyk - their not muppets.

Didn't realise Garcia had 2 putters out with him yesterday. His confidence must be well shot! Was disappointed to see him go out today to Boo Boo. Don't know why, but whenever I hear Boo Weekly being interviewed I can't help but think of Happy Gilmore.

Stenson marches on. 7 extra holes. Wow, some contest.

Pity Westwood lost.

Not such a good day for the europeans, and several lost t potential Ryder cup players. Oops, doesn't set a good example. (Padraig, pull your finger out).
