Had my second golf lesson this evening with my new teaching pro Sarah Wilson based at Bramford Golf Centre. This year I've made a conscious decision to focus on my short game and Sarah is an Advanced PGA Professional who specialises in the short game. Bob will like her as she sells and uses V-Easy's ;)

So I've worked hard on what she asked me to do last time out and today I was really surprised by the progress I'd made. I was picking out targets on the range to within a couple of feetbt changing swing length and/or club. So we moved on to advanced pitching techniques and it all made so much sense. I was cutting it high, chopping and checking it, I was a bit taken aback by the progress I was making.

Going to spend the next few weeks working hard on technique and nailing my distances. I've booked a one hour lesson for three weeks and we are going on the course to work on on course pitching and decision making. I think this will help my on course confidence no end.

She also gave me some great advice on bunkers and mid iron shots. Honestly this is the best money I've ever spent. Incredibly excited about the upcoming season!! :D

Glad it is coming together for you. Short game in 2012 for me and HID is talking about a lesson with Gary Smith at Wokefield Park for my birthday. He is a top short game coach and would love to see what he could do with my issues and problems

refreshing to see some enthusiasm for learning the game rather than people asking which white driver will make them big hitters. mastering the short game is the best way to get that handicap down tiger. let us know how you get on and if you learn something new share the wealth of knowledge.

I saw the V-easy in a pro shop last week, asked about it and they said "not sure, some teaching aid I think" think theres some POS training required by yes.
