A worst ever round and a milestone in one day

Just in case any of you had a bad round today, yours was not nearly as bad as mine.

Playing better ball pairs in our winter league today of 3/4 hcp (15)

I came in on one hole for 3pts, lost 6 balls but at least the sun was shining.

No swearing, no club abuse, I was simply terrible. Too much stuff on my mind instead of concentrating on my game.

Hit 5 good (perfect) golf shots today and two of those were on one hole.

A mullered drive and a sweet 5 wood in high wind against saw me on the green in regulation of our SI1 par 4 12th for the first time ever.

It happens, as I'm sure you know. Doesn't mean anything for your next round though.

I had 18pts Tuesday, 42 Thursday and 38 today. Nothing different. Silly game.

Glad to see you took it well though. My partner almost hit me with a 5 iron today, I wasn't impressed.

No need for misery then!! Wish I could hit one perfect shot Chin up it is a stupid game sometimes but the great thing is there is always tomorrow!

I was simply terrible.

This is exactly how I felt on Friday. Me and Region took on CVG and Fragger. Beat them 5&3.
But Gary was playing so well I didn't contribute much to the matchplay until well into the back 9. Even the hole I birdied he went and Eagled it...!!

Monthly medal - 46 out and 48 back -Gross 94 nett 81 (+11). And you think you had a bad day. For those who know - I can't slice a ball. Hook and block but never a full on slice. Well I've now perfected that shot too. No idea where it came from but every shot was the same. I swear I sliced a few putts too
