The Scotland rugby team were playing France in the 1960's.
It was an ill tempered game and at half time a group of Scots players surrounded the referee to complain about the French packs tactics.
The referee got a bit flustered and tried to say it was the French style.
'How can you stop the French fighting?' he asked.
