After what can only be described as the worst golfing month I can remember (mainly down to all work and no play / practice) I have finally managed to get back into the swing of things this week. Been going to the range and playing a few holes after work and things felt like they were slowly getting better. Managed to blag the afternoon off and have just returned from shooting a level pb 86 (pb at Cirencester by a shot) and am now beaming!!

Played really solidly for most of the round (apart from a lost ball on the 3rd) but the highlight was the 10th. Stroke index 1, 450+ par 4 into the wind...hit an ok drive then absolutley nailed my 3-wood and found myself about 15ft from the pin. Drained the putt for a lovely birdie. Managed to keep it going with a few inevitable wasted shots but feeling so much better about my game.

Just praying I didn't use it all up today as have a Medal tomorrow morning! Fingers crossed I can replicate some of today's form!!!

Apologies for the trumpet blowing, but the cat doesn't seem interested!!! :-)

The cat may not be interested but the crow says "well played!".

Great birdie on the 10th, and it'll all continue for you tomorrow I'm sure of it! :)

Well played - my hamster never even asks how I played!!!!! Although it finds out as it tends to fly accross the lounge if Ive played badly!
Only joking before the RSPCA breaks down my front door...........

A birdie on SI 1. It doesn't get much better than that. Well played and hope the sunburn isn't too sore tomorrow. Put the cat on starvation rations until it learns to sit there and listen to your account

Well done on the scoring, just imagine how good it would be if you played regularly ;)

Your cat must not speak English. Murph's cat's eyes light up with tales of golfing greatness. :D
