Its an album for me, The Jams; All Mod Cons.
Ok i was only 12 but close enough to a teenager.
Everytime i hear down in the tube station. english rose, fly, etc: i'am a kid again. Wistful smiley

Yes, they were well ahead of their time, would probably make it if they were new today. Shame about Steve, he had a great voice.

Brilliant...... I am not quite old enough for the small faces but love this music..... We go to a sixties soul club in Manchester "The Twisted Wheel" all this kind of stuff is played there. In 2010 we saw Chris Farlow live he sang this and many more including his fantastic No1 "Out Of Time", the guy was celebrating his 70th Birthday, his energy and voice were amazing, he did a one and a half hour set straight through, remarkable, a memorable afternoon.....
