Whilst we all have a good old moan and get genuinely angry about how well/bad our team is doing and we all get angry because Suarez is diving, Rooney is greedy, Moyes was treated badly, Mourinho is accusing refs of cheating and Arsenal have won nothing for over nine years, bear this in mind, Sandy Jardine, aged 65yrs, and Tito Vilanova, aged just 45yrs, have both sadly passed away today.
A very sad day for football ..................... genuinely sad.
May they both rest in peace.

Yep, very true.

Sandy Jardine was a fantastic player in his prime, won player of the year at 38 as well. Arguably the best full back in the world (alongside Danny McGrain) at his peak. A true legend of the game and will be sadly missed.

Saw Jardine on TV playing for Scotland and he looked as fantastic. Always seemed to read a game well

Very sad news about Tito Vilanova a very talented coach at a relatively young age dying to cancer. Terrible.

I had to google Sandy Jardine to be honest but its a very sad day for football.

Like all good players on the ball, he always looked that he had all the time in the world.
