I got my first ever eagle yesterday

Playing the 1st at Thumeries-Moncheaux on the lad's annual european jolly. (Nice course not far from Lille, by the way). A 380yd opener. Decent enough drive just into light rough on left, then a 170yd hybrid onto the fringe, rolled up the slope on to upper tier then unfortunately disappeared from sight. But I knew it would be close enough for an easy birdie chance. But on getting to green, no ball to be seen. A cuss or two and then start looking over the back until someone suggests l look in the hole ...

Well done,but at 380yrd you really should only be leaving yourself a wedge into the green for your 2nd shot 💪😁

Nice one, got my first a couple of months ago, 9 iron into our 18th which landed soft and went into the hole. Only thing was I didn't see it go in as it was quite dark 😡
