A scratch cup win and a cut to 10.

Well after yesterday's round I now have my feet firmly in Cat 2 territory... I won the intermediate scratch cup with a gross 75 and got chopped to 10..... Happy would be a gross understatement... The hard work over the winter has payed off.... I have to play like a 10 now....

Cheers lads...... Played an open team of 3 this morning and I'm playing an open singles at 5:30 this evening with a mate of mine who plays off scratch..... All go and surfing the crest of the high for as long as I can.

Well done Kid that's great and excellent to see all your hard work paying off. Just have some belief in that. My coach showed me very early on in this journey a graph with a "wiggly" peaks and troughs line but a linear one through it showing un upward trend. If I was techy I'd draw it and put it on here but I'm not. The point was that when I felt in a bit of a crisis (which I know you've felt too) then I had to believe it was just a dip and I'd come through it and overall would learn a lot from it and improve despite or maybe because of it...overall the trend was upwards and continual, steady improvement.

Now I just need to practice what I preach

Id say 80% was focused on my swing plane Pal... I was out to in and im now more in to out.....It nearly broke me but i kept the head down and battled on....
I love putting and chipping too which helps....
