A Round Of 2 Halfs....

I played tonight in the midweek comp, and after a chip in birdie on the 1st hole I was hoping I could break my pb 84.

It didn't happen.

I went out in 39 only to blow up and return 49 total 88 gross 70 nett.

5 double bogeys a 4 single bogeys on the back 9 turned a potential great score into a decent level par score.

Gutted really as I've been playing well the last few weeks and today's front 9 was as good as I've ever played.

I feel your pain mate, although mine was the other way round today

Started off with a treble before a couple more bogeys on 2&3, a double on 7 and two more bogeys to hit the turn at a 9 over par 44

Then proceeded to play the back 9 in a level par 35, which consisted of 7 pars, 1 bogey and 1 birdie

So finished with a level par nett round but really frustrated at the front 9, definitely a round of 2 halves for me as well

you played some great stuff on sunday. I cant see that PB lasting for long!
