As most of you know I'm laid up at the moment. So to pass the time tidying up the odd small things needed in my swing. The only two thing really were ball position and sometime my arms tended to get a bit detached from my body at the top off my backswing.

I have been using Bob's headcover drill (i hate drills). Only in my case used a folded tea towel (nearest thing close to hand). I can now do the whole swing from start to full finish without the towel falling. Everything is so much more compact and repeatable.

So a big thanks to Bob.
All you beginners out there USE it , start right you will not regret it.

Bob who?

that drill is very very old, and very very mis-used. You shouldn't be able to do the whole swing without it falling....unless your swing is faulty.

Sorry should have said it's with the shorter irons, from 6 upwards. With the woods and long irons it tends to fall after the first part of the follow though.

and even then it would be chest to chest max.

Bob is by far the best pro that I have used. Leave his lessons desperate to try it on the course rather than dreading hours on the range.
