Imagine my surprise on opening an envelope with my brothers handwriting on it, to find inside a voucher for a day of 'intermediate' PGA golf tuition at Dalmahoy :thup:

Turns out this was a freebie through his work and since he couldn't use it he sent it my way because he thought 'I might need it ' - cheeky sod.

Booked in for the 4th of October and the day consists of 2 1/2 hrs of various assessment and tuition sessions in the morning then a lunch and an on-course playing lesson in the pm. Really looking forward to a concentrated day of tuition - hopefully will give me lots to work on over the winter.

Anyone had any tuition at Dalmahoy or meed on one of these 'days' ?

I haven't had one at Dalmahoy but I have had 2 similar days elsewhere and also a 3hr lesson at St Andrews without any on course part. Everyone is different I guess but I found the experiences very useful and I got more out of both than I have from shorter duration lessons.

Nice one, I wish my brother would just remember my birthday !

Looking forward to any feedback you have Ian, as I would like to have an on course type lesson, as think it would help on shot/club decision making.

I was lucky enough to have a round with a Europro player last month. It was great picking his brains.

My missus bought me an 'experience' voucher a while ago and I've just booked the exact same thing for October 3rd at Forest Of Arden.

Looking forward to it, especially if it's run by the same guy that fundy's seen a couple of times.
