A Mysterious New Golf Club…

Hi

I was reading in the local newspaper that a new golf club has been constructed near me called Astbury Hall.

All I know that it has been designed partly by Kenneth Downing the guitarist from Judas Priest…!!!

It looks pretty good, however I was wondering whether anybody had any further info on it?

I saw it earlier this year whilst taking the scenic route back to Bewdley from Bridgnorth golf club. It has been built to top specifications. I don't know when it will open but the part I saw looked good. The Express & Star and Evening Mail had articles on it and the owner earlier this year. Google it. The website says it is open for preview play and gives a number to call. It is at Chelmarsh near Bridgnorth.

Looks like rounds can be booked online at a cost of £55.00 per player via the website.

If it's as good as they say it is, that £55.00 would be a "steal" down here bearing in mind you haven't got a member signing you in as a guest.

I'd heard rumours that this golf course was going to be absolutely fantastic and built to top specs. Can't wait for it to be finished properly. Got to have a look...
