Get in! Two 9 hole winter league matches yesterday and two wins. Winter pairs match today and another win. Yesterday was a bit scratchy but good enough to win (twice!). Today I have played some of the best golf I have to date...

All good practice in sharpening up my matchplay mentality for our Daily Mail match next weekend.

Mission accomplished today when I was last to take my 2nd shot on the 1st 2 holes :clap: For a while there I was playing regulation scratch golf and I felt like a scratch golfer. Then I stuffed up the 7th hole !!

I call Amanda as my partner in any forum matches in the future - I'm a glass half full Homer in 2012 and I did give her a recipe for mid-round munchies too. I think a lot of us are going to be soundly beaten when Amanda rocks up to a meet.

Sure did - off the mats so no "walking miles" to the red tees! Stepped up to the first and aimed across the corner of the lake and hit a beauty...almost then on in two (Par 5). 2nd hole hit another beauty leaving a nice little gap wedge to the green. By this time I think their heads were a wee bit screwed!! After the match they said something about less advantage to us girlies due to the winter mats and that I "hit a nice long ball" so I'll take that as a compliment !

I'm still feeling very good about my game but even more so that I felt it only right I was playing regulation par golf!
