Hi Ali.I would like to wish you and all the other members of the forum a very happy new year and congratulate Golf Monthly on creating a place where we can all come and air our views on all golf matters(and sometimes other subjects)
I have found it a great place to come and read peoples opinions and ive learnt many things over the time ive been a member.

I'd enjoy a game with you, either here in Spain or in the West of England. I've played lots of courses on your area. Apart from Dorset courses, I've played and enjoyed Sidmouth, Looe bin Down, and Saltford (between Bristol and Bath). Where do you play?

Happy new year all, hopefully next year is at least as ejoyable as this year, We have a great little second daughter who never cries, smiled from virtually day one and now at 5 months has had her first xmas dinner and laughs at her older sister being silly. Speaking of the older daughter, shes got her own little junior proper clubs and whacks her wedge 30-40 yards, for a 3 year old I think shes looking good to have a pretty good handicap by the time shes allowed onto the course proper.

2008 is set to be a good year for me, getting married in november and going to start trying for our 2nd baby as soon as we get on honeymoon!

I know what you mean, Dave. The only other forum I frequent is to do with teaching of our wonderful language. It gets really vicious!

We play at an 'unpretentious' (?) mainly pay and play club in N. Bristol.
Know Saltford quite well and like it, also other S.Bristol clubs like Stockwood and Knowle.
