After some good reviews from you guys, a bit the bullet and purchased some Wilson Staff DX2 soft balls. They were £16.99 in my local AG but i found them on Online Golf for £13.69!!! I took a printout into AG and they matched the price for me! They were also doing a deal, 2 dozen for £26! As i haven't tried them yet i opted for a dozen.

First impressions are, nice feel off the putter face and the cover feels quite soft in the hand. My first round with them will be Friday afternoon, then Saturday morning. Looking forward to it!

Playing off of 6 I cant help but feel that is not the correct ball for you, however good luck, hope you like them.

I think it comes down to preference and i have always preferred a slightly harder ball ie pro v1x over the pro v1. I tend to spin the ball a lot and have found i get too much spin off the driver, so have been looking for a compromise between distance, spin and price. These are my next test ball! Unfortunately with an upcoming wedding i can't spend too much or HID whinges!!!

I'd have thought something like the TP red or the Z star would have been a better choice but I'm interested to hear how you find them this weekend.

Been out in the garage practising some putting a they feel great off the putter face. I like to feel the ball spring off the face with a slight click instead of the dull noise of say a Pro v1

A dull noise of the pro v's, and you like to feel the spring of the putter face. I like to hear the ball hitting the bottom of the cup.
